What Tuck reads, what it remembers, and what you choose to share.

About this policy
Tuck: Menu Bar Organizer is a Mac app made by Rappasoft, LLC. This policy covers Tuck and the update service being prepared for its downloadable release. Sales are not open yet. Visits to this site are covered separately by the Rappasoft website privacy policy.
Running apps and Accessibility
Tuck discovers running apps and their menu bar items on your Mac. It uses app names, bundle identifiers, and icons to display your choices. With Accessibility permission, it checks menu bar item structure and available actions, opens a selected app's menu, and observes menu opening and closing events for automatic retucking.
Tuck does not copy the contents of your documents, messages, or menu selections into a history. It does not record your screen or require Screen Recording permission. You can manage Accessibility permission in macOS System Settings. Removing that permission prevents Tuck from discovering and opening app menus.
Settings stored on your Mac
Tuck remembers the bundle identifiers of the apps you select, your Favorites, tray order, keyboard shortcut, and automatic retucking and startup choices. These are stored locally in macOS preferences without Tuck encryption. macOS manages your launch-at-login setting. Running-app and menu information is used in memory while Tuck is running.
You can change selections, Favorites, order, and settings in Tuck. Quitting the app restores the menu bar icons but keeps your saved preferences for the next launch. Removing the app does not automatically erase its preferences. Contact us if you need help removing saved Tuck settings.
Network and analytics
Tuck has no account, cloud sync, advertising, or analytics service. The app does not send your selected apps, Favorites, settings, or menu activity to Rappasoft or a third party. Menu discovery and organization happen on your Mac. Apps whose menus you open continue to operate under their own privacy policies.
Optional update checks
The downloadable release will use Sparkle to check for updates. When you choose Check for Updates or enable automatic checks, Tuck requests release information from Rappasoft and can download an update over HTTPS. You can turn automatic checks off and check manually instead.
The update host and its hosting providers receive your IP address, the requested URL, and ordinary connection information, including app and updater versions. They may retain access logs to operate and troubleshoot the service. Tuck does not send a device profile, selected-app list, Favorites, menu activity, or license identifier with update checks. There is no license activation server.
Purchases and downloads
Lemon Squeezy will handle checkout, payment processing, receipts, and delivery of the initial download. It processes purchase information such as your name, email, billing details, and order under its privacy policy. Rappasoft receives order and customer information needed to provide purchases, support, refunds, and business records. Tuck does not receive or store your payment card details, and using the app does not require a Rappasoft account or license activation.
Support and questions
If you email us, we receive your address, message, and any attachments you choose to send. We use them to respond and troubleshoot, and retain the correspondence as needed for support and business records. Email providers process messages as part of delivery and storage. Please avoid sending private app content. For support, access, or deletion requests, email [email protected]. You can ask us to delete support correspondence, subject to any records we must keep by law.
We will update this policy if the app's practices change. Visit the Tuck product and support page.
