TimeTill Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the TimeTill application ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

TimeTill is a mobile application designed to help users track important moments through countdown and count-up timers. The App provides features including customizable timers, notifications, widgets, calendar integration, and iCloud synchronization.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create within the App, including:

  • Timer names and descriptions
  • Personal notes
  • Background images you select
  • Customization preferences

You are solely responsible for the content you create and store within the App.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Share, distribute, or reproduce App content without authorization
  • Use the App in any way that could damage or impair the service
  • Circumvent any security features of the App

5. Intellectual Property

  • All content, features, and functionality of the App are owned by the App developers
  • The TimeTill name, logo, and associated branding are trademarks of the developers
  • You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes

6. iCloud Synchronization

If you enable iCloud sync:

  • Your timer data will be stored in your personal iCloud account
  • You are responsible for maintaining adequate iCloud storage
  • Sync availability depends on Apple's iCloud services
  • We are not responsible for data loss due to iCloud service issues

7. Notifications

The App may send you notifications based on your settings:

  • Timer reminders at times you specify
  • Milestone notifications for approaching events
  • You can manage notification preferences in your device settings
  • We are not responsible for missed notifications due to device settings, battery optimization, or system limitations

8. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS REGARDING:

  • The accuracy of time calculations or notification delivery
  • The availability or uninterrupted access to the App
  • The reliability of iCloud synchronization
  • That the App will meet your specific requirements or expectations
  • That widgets will always display current information

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE APP DEVELOPERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Loss of data or timer information
  • Missed events due to notification failures
  • Any damages arising from your use or inability to use the App
  • Issues arising from iCloud sync failures

11. Assumption of Risk

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You use this App entirely at your own risk
  • You are solely responsible for backing up important dates and information
  • The App should not be relied upon as the sole reminder for critical events
  • You should verify important dates through other means

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the App developers from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the App or violation of these Terms.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or the App.

15. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
