About Life, Explained

Life, Explained is an educational app from Rappasoft, LLC for iOS, Android, and macOS. The app does not require a Rappasoft account. Visits to this website are covered by the Rappasoft website privacy policy.

Content and learning activity

Lessons and examples are included in the app and may be updated through the app platform. The app does not ask for financial account details, insurance records, medical information, or legal documents. Quiz answers currently stay in the open app session; they are not uploaded to Rappasoft or synced to an account. Device backups may contain app data according to your platform settings.

Purchases

On iOS and Android, an optional one-time Full Access purchase is handled by Apple or Google Play. RevenueCat provides purchase and restoration services and receives an app-generated customer identifier and purchase information such as product, transaction, store, and entitlement status. RevenueCat may process device and app information needed to operate its service. Rappasoft does not receive your payment-card details. Apple and Google purchases are tied to their respective store accounts and do not transfer between stores. The macOS version does not currently offer a purchase.

Support and outside links

If you contact us by email, we receive your address and the message or attachments you choose to send. We use that information to answer your request and keep support records as needed. Please do not send passwords, account statements, medical records, or other sensitive documents. If a lesson links to an outside website, opening it sends a normal browser request to that site, which applies its own privacy policy.

Advertising, retention, and choices

The app contains no advertising or cross-app tracking SDK and does not sell learning activity. Purchase records are retained by the stores and RevenueCat under their policies. Support correspondence may be retained as needed for support, legal, and business records. You may request access to or deletion of information you sent us; some records may need to be kept where required by law.
